The International Island Games Association is made up of 25 Member Islands who have come together every two years since 1985 to compete in friendly competition in up to 14 sports from archery to volleyball.

BERMUDA has competed at the last three Island Games:
- 2003 in Guernsey - 90 athletes competed in 9 different sports
- 2005 in Shetland and Gibraltar - 140 athletes competed in 12 different sports
- 2007 in Rhodes - nearly 300 athletes competed in 14 different sports
These are the largest teams ever to travel abroad representing Bermuda at any one event.
We are now planning our participation in the Aland Islands in 2009
The Bermuda IGA is a limited by guarantee company and a registered charitable organization (#632) in Bermuda.
